The Bootstrappers Guide to Launching New Products

Today is the day! Beautiful Bracelets Launch Party! If this were not a 6 Week Challenge, I would probably take at least 6 Weeks to plan and organise the Event, guests, and many other aspects needed for a successful product launch. In fact, I would probably plan it around a Trade Show, like SARCDA, for maximum impact. Unfortunately, we just missed that one and will have to wait until March or September 2013!

So the goal of this Launch Party is to force me to be ready for our First Event as quickly as possible, to give my personal network an opportunity to see the products, so that from there I can build and expand the circle.. hopefully with invitations to show the products to "friends of friends". And also to sell Beautiful Bracelets, building capital to grow the product line so that by the end of the 6 Weeks (or sooner if possible) there will be sufficient stock to have a good exhibition table at one or more of the local Christmas Flea Markets. Of course, the ideal would be to have the products in all the stores starting with local (Midrand) stores and branching into Gauteng and later to other areas, but this is part of the journey towards that end goal.

So this is an important landmark for Beautiful Bracelets!

The internet of course has every resource you may need if you want to start a Small Business. Here is one link with tips on How to Throw a Launch Party. The title of this Blog Post was irresistible, link to the article here. A good read for the more cerebral!
