In any new business project there are likely to be setbacks and disappointments. Disappointment is ALWAYS a divine instruction to initiate a change. Disappointment can be deadly if nothing changes. You need to isolate the disappointment, separate it from the other things that are happening in your life, and work out why the disappointment is there.
If the disappointment comes through an individual, confront the situation. You have 3 options:
- They did not meet expectations.(Dialogue brings understanding)
- There is something they're not telling you.
- Confrontation in an effort to resolve the situation.
Disappointment is a seed for dramatic improvements in your life. Sometimes something you are holding onto needs to die. It might be an idea. It may be a relationship. When WRONG people leave your life (or your business), good things start to happen.
(credit to the wisdom of Dr Mike Murdock, paraphrased).
